The Extended Body Wally Wing Hexagenia Mayfly is widespread across the entirety of the United States. As one of the largest mayflies in the US, and typically found in 
the 4 to 8 size range, the pale/yellow bodied Hexagenia presents an excellent opportunity to target trout with a dry fly, as they tend to lose wariness when presented with a large meal. The adult Mayfly pattern can also be used during the spinner falls as well.

These flies are very durable and float like corks. The hackle is trimmed on the bottom horizontally even with the hook point and vertically with the hook point, forming a “V”. This helps the flies set on the water like the natural and stops your leader from twisting when casting. You won’t be disappointed.
